I absolutely LOVE capturing the Rens family! They’re laid-back, joyful, and every session is a perfect mix of a few good, posed photos and those sweet in-between shots I adore most.

This time, they even did an outfit change into their Lions gear! Auggie and Mason were wrestling and tossing the football—just being brothers—while Sonny kept stealing their hats and cracking everyone up. Amelia was her usual adorable self, and both her and Sonny wanted to wander down the trail like they always do with Grandma and Grandpa, so during the session we waited for them to finish their walk lol

Auntie Jackie and Uncle Alex are the best—always so fun and patient with their nieces and nephews!

After the “official” photos finished, I hung out a little longer while Sammy munched on PB&Js and Stephanie and I chatted, watching Sam happily stim on the siding of the little backyard playhouse he loves so much, and got the cutest photo of him smiling, in one of his happy places!
